Ashtrays

The crystal ashtrays are handcut lead crystal. Even in times of no smoking they are popular means for decoration and storage, just like small crystal dishes or crystal plates.

The Paris Cut of lead crystal

We prefer the Paris Cut, masterly cut by hand with stonediscs by our ladies and gentlemen experts. The characteristics are a strict order of a few complicated geometric patterns. The cut has become the symbol of a blossoming epoque in music, painting and literature, of research, development, engineering and progress, an extraordinarily booming phase in European history by mid of the 19th century. The growing and wealthy middle class gained more influence on politics, econmy and lifestyle. And so Bohemian Lead Crystal became popular and widely spread.

Variaty of dimensions and shapes

We only have round crstal ashtrays in Paris Cut. They are available as small crystal ashtrays with a diameter 12cm – for ladies. In contrast with big crystal ashtrays with 20,5cm diameter – for clubs and offices. Even in times of banning tobacco our crystal ashtrays enjoy wide popularity because of their beauty and elegance.

Highest level

Only top glass blowers and moulds are involved in making our blanks: no stamps, no automatic machines – only human beings with their talents and their stone discs. The raw material is lead crystal with 24% PbO – this is our credo.
