Jugs, Bottles, Carafs

The square Whisky bottle should be in each bar at home. The crystal carafe standing on one leg like a proud cock, the gentle crystal jugs for lemonades, the crystal bottles with elegant stoppers for all kinds of wine. They are beautiful and exciting at the same time. They prove an exquisite taste and they show a good sense for easyness and excitement. And they all convey the tradition of handcut lead crystal.

The Paris Cut of lead crystal

Our favourite is the Paris Cut, masterly cut with stonediscs by our ladies and gentlemen experts. The characteristics are a strict order of a few complicated geometric patterns. It has become the symbol of a blossoming epoque in music, painting and literature, of research, development, engineering and progress. An extraordinarily booming phase in European history by mid of the 19th century. The growing and wealthy middle class gained more influence on politics, econmy and lifestyle. It is reflected in the precision, the fragile ornaments and the pomp of the crystal jugs, the crystal bottles and the crystal carafs.

Various shapes and sizes

The refined selection of models presents the most attractive pieces from the various article families. The square crystal Whisky bottle with stopper (800ml volume). The round slim or balloon shaped crystal bottles with stoppers for all kinds of wine, sherry or port. The proud tall crystal carafs with stoppers (1000ml volume), next tot he small ice bucket (13cm high). And they all gain from the delicate Paris Cut.

Highest level

For the manufacture of precious objects of this kind it takes the best glass blowers and the best moulds for our blanks. And strictly no stamps, no automatic machines – only human beings with their talents and their stone discs. The raw material is lead crystal with 24% PbO – this is our credo.
